@hypostase I unfortunately cannot help but pronounce it as the Danish word for "goat".

(Hard g, and the weird soft d that AFAIK only exists in Danish.)

@datarama cool. Of course now my mouth is going to be making weird shapes for the rest of the day, as it tries to figure out how that works. It does that.

@hypostase The most infamous Danish tongue-twister that we have foreigners try to pronounce is "rød grød med fløde" ("red porridge with cream") - you can probably find someone saying it on Youtube or the like. :-)

When I was learning Russian, I spent quite some time trying to get my mouth into the correct shape for properly pronouncing "ы".
