aaaaand #irony wins the week.
☝️in fairness, I knocked the mug onto the floor and not the other direction into my laptop, so still calling it a win. πŸ™ƒ

@vlrny hey congrats, I hugely appreciate the β€œminimize damage” skills

(But yes such ironies !)

@vlrny you can still glue it back together and use it for pencils or something
@vlrny Yes, that's a usefull skill I also share. In my case, "the laptop" is often "me", and "the floor" is "other people".
Meaning: I somehow react in a way that I don't get the liquid from the tumbling mug, but the person sitting across from me does. 😬
@waffelhard oof.
How to make friends and influence people. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

@vlrny πŸ˜¬ πŸ˜…

maybe you can glue it together and call it "kintsugi" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kintsugi

Kintsugi - Wikipedia

@bazkie oh! I love kintsugi!
...I think I might BE kintsugi.
πŸ’”βœ¨
@vlrny aah that's a beautiful thought! β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

The Divine also
appreciates kintsugi.
Broken. Beautiful.

@vlrny
May I laugh? Because this is kind of art.
@ohmu oh yes! Definitely laugh. And oh yes, some kind of poetry in motion or something.
@vlrny That is art right there πŸ˜„
@stephaniepixie ooooo yes. Lil impromptu art installation.
@vlrny @stephaniepixie betcha you could make money selling this pic as wall art
@LibertyForward1 @stephaniepixie oooo something to consider. πŸ€”
@vlrny @LibertyForward1 Truly. It looks great and many people can relate.
@stephaniepixie @vlrny @LibertyForward1
And the original, artfully glued in a shadow box frame. That would be more expensive, obviously.
@vlrny this picture & your ability to laugh it off feels more powerful than an identical new mug would be.
@vlrny Oof and *sigh*. Been there, done that. Rest in pieces, our favorite mugs!
@vlrny Great candidate for kintsugi repair, making it double-powerful and beautiful
