@paco I had a shower in college where you could only change the temperature a comfortable amount by putting your hand on the lever and imagining turning it. Worked every time.

@paco Also add in the complexity that every hotel seems to use slightly different designs and orientations forcing you to experiment to find that green zone all the while trying to stay out of the water flow so you don’t freeze and/or burn yourself.

@paco Y’all need thermostatic valves.

My last place had two - one on the hot water tank, which mixed cold & hot water to a safe level, then another on the shower - once you set the temperature on one dial, the temperature stayed the same (once the hot water got there).
