Anthropic essentially bans OpenClaw from Claude by making subscribers pay extra

The popular combination of OpenClaw and Claude Code is being severed now that Anthropic has announced it will start charging subscribers extra to access its AI with third-party tools.

@verge It's only a ban if you're not willing to pay for your usage. We shall see but it would appear that all AI usage is subsidized so when they become 'real' business and needs to make a profit then everyone will pay more. For now those that are a higher drain on the system probably should pay more even if it is subsidized.
