Keyboard 3 of 3 arrived today. Same exact model as the other two - DROP ENTR TKL - but this one is olive. Boosted the color a little in this photo since it’s a bit difficult to tell. It’s my only olive board and now I’m going to see which keycap set might match that. Possibly my marshmallow XDA set? #Mechanicalkeyboards #mechanicalkeyboard #mechkeys
Forgot to mention, I deployed my white ENTR yesterday on the work laptop and have been using that all day. It works great, excellent keypress feel, not too loud and that's just with the stock caps. It's plain looking but honestly I don't mind that at all. These keyboards were absolutely bargains for $29 each, but I think it was all jsut a firesale from Drop.com. If you go there now you'll see that the site has changed from what it used to be to some weird Corsair shop now. Ah well.
@dhry That's because Corsair bought them in 2023.

@cliffwade That would most definitely explain it.

I bought many a keyboard and keycap set from them over the years. Oh, and many an artisan cap as well.

@dhry I remember the days of MassDrop. Then they changed the name to Drop and were still pretty good.

I'm honestly not a very big fan of Corsair.

@cliffwade Yep - massdrop! They had an app if I remember correctly, then the app went away and you were forced to just use their website.

Corsair - had one of their fullsize keyboards which I gave away to a friend for free. It was pretty good, but it had this gigantic hard-connected thickass USB cable that split into two separate connectors on the PC end for god knows what. One maybe just to power the LEDs and the other for control? It sucked for desktop space so I was happy to say bye.

@dhry I've done some reviews for them over the years. They aren't bad, just not my favorite.

My current keyboard, Turtle Beach, has that style of cord and I hate it to be honest. But I absolutely love the keyboard and have for about 6 years now.

@cliffwade I had all the very best intentions of Marie Kondo'ing my entire keyboard collection last year, and keeping only the ones that I actually used. Buying three new keebs in one go recently reveals *precisely* how that initiative ended..

I did however manage to get rid of two in total. The aforementioned Corsair to that friend, and one with a built in Raspberry Pi - right before Pi's shot up astronomically in value. 😑

@dhry Haha, not bad. Give away 2, buy 3. Sounds about how I do things.
