Left wet and windy Holyhead in Wales to arrive in lovely sunny #Dublin today. Irish Sea a bit choppy, but luckily we’ve travelled ahead of #StormDave.

Had a wander around the city. Hadn’t been for 25 years, but recognised much more than I expected to.

My partner made me take this photo because it strangely contains a word I unfortunately spend much of my working life talking about - #asbestos.

But I loved the contrasts of the different murals against each other and the sky.

We’ve got tomorrow morning left to spend in #Dublin and the kids and grandparents have said they want to go to a #museum.

Any recommendations for which one would be best for a big age range? We don’t mind history, art or anything a bit quirky, but are open to any ideas!

@JugglingWithEggs isn't there a lovely national gallery of Ireland in Dublin? Very friendly staff will tell you all about Yates and Joyce at the drop of a hat..

@Fizzfizzpopop

Love a friendly museum! My dad volunteers at his local one and chatting to visitors makes his day. Would be great to see some art and have a natter!

@JugglingWithEggs a few years ago I enjoyed seeing how much Celtic gold was on display at the Museum of Archaeology on Kildare Street.
The exhibition of 'bog bodies' there was very powerful.

@PeterGray

I think gold and ‘bog bodies’ might go down well - thanks!

@JugglingWithEggs id recommend the Dead Zoo/natural History museum on merrion square west and the National gallery about 150m away
Both are free entry
Stained glass room in gallery is my favorite there

The national museum on kildare st also free and worth a look

@ColmDonoghue

These had been on my radar, but no idea if they worth checking out - thanks for the tip!
