Cash aid isn’t a solution for homelessness.

An experiment in giving homeless people $750 didn’t move the needle. To reduce homelessness, payments likely need to be larger, last longer—or both—and come close to covering a full month’s rent locally, explains a professor of social and health policy.

Getting $750 a month didn’t end homelessness – but our study shows it still improved the lives of homeless people

The study found that regularly getting cash made it easier for many homeless people to meet their immediate and personal needs.

@TheConversationUS It seems obvious that "not enough cash to pay rent" would not be a solution for homelessness, doesn't it?

Regardless, your first sentence seems...disingenuous: What you mean to say (or should say) is that *inadequate* cash aid isn't a solution for homelessness. The way you've worded it sounds like you're dismissing cash solutions, which would be an obviously wrong takeaway.
