TRANS MASCS & MEN: I want to start a “Buy a trans guy a pizza day” to parallel the “buy a trans girl a pizza day.” What date do you think would be a good date for that?
Similar to how the latter helps us celebrate Mira Bellwether, it would be lovely to pick a day that lets us celebrate a trans man or trans masc who has been important to the community, but is maybe underrecognized.
@forestine @JoscelynTransient so that’s the thing that bugs me, mira’s thing is also on TDOV, and i have never felt good about trans girls squatting on a holiday that’s meant for all trans people.
i mean like honestly i don’t think giving pizza to trans people needs a binary gender at all? i am probably a bit biased but even so, almost any other day would be better?
@forestine @JoscelynTransient @jepyang Honestly I didn't even know that. I thought that was just part of TDoV and not something separate from that.
And to the topic: Hell yeah! I want to give my trans brothers and siblings some pizza to munch on!
