Niels K.I backed a #ttrpg on #kickstarter and what I rarely do is get a tier with physical books. The books come from the US. I paid $79 for backing the project and $58.01 in shipping and import tax. This is the last time I back at a non-digital tier for things from the US.

I backed a graphic novel in 2020, got it two weeks after it was available on amazon, and had to pay $27 shipping - more than the price.
it's nobodys fault really, those small companies don't have fulfillment centers worldwide, but really annoying nonetheless
