Afghanistan 🇦🇫Reports indicate that both Iranian and American forces are searching for the pilot of a downed F-35 fighter jet in Iran.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that today, a second American F-35 fighter jet was intercepted and landed using a defense drone in central Iran.
Subsequently, some Iranian media reported that the pilot of the aircraft ejected and there is no information available regarding his whereabouts.
Media outlets have also released images of Iranian and unidentified helicopters flying at low altitude in parts of Iran, apparently searching for the pilot.
Al Jazeera English has also reported that American forces have begun operations to locate and rescue the pilot, adding that an unidentified American official confirmed the news to Reuters.
