CybarbieI do not understand why Ukrainians use Telegram at all tbh. We had a documented case from part of then occupied Kherson where FSB fell for a smoke test. Unfortunately not everyone got out. The excuse to talk to relatives in Russia and the occupied territories is less compelling of late. My guess is inertia.

Actually TG is a very flawed by design product that's showing it's age and limitations. But it's very easy to use, and ease of use trumps all in most cases- see: SMS/texting which should never have been born and should have died a long time ago.
