Report: Hegseth has removed, forcibly retired, or blocked promotion of 12+ senior US military officers across multiple branches.

These include "combat-tested commanders with decades of operational experience in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Gulf War & other major US military campaigns" based on their race, gender, or perceived alignment with Biden policies.

Steps were taken to block or delay promotions of many Black or female senior officers.
