Good Morning #Canada
In theory every Friday is a #GoodFriday because it leads to a weekend for most of us. Good Friday is determined by #EasterSunday, which is celebrated on the 1st Sunday after the first full moon in spring (after March 21st). Totally logical.
According to the last #StatsCan census over 29% of Canadians identify as Catholic, although only approximately two thirds attend church regularly.

Happy Easter - Statistics Canada

Easter Sunday, along with Christmas, are the biggest celebrations of the year for the world’s 2.3 billion Christians. In fact, these may well be the only two days of the year when a Christian will go to church.

I'm in that 1/3 who identify as Catholic but only attend church for a wedding or funeral. I was raised as a Catholic, did my time as an alter boy, but after high school I stopped attending mass. One of my brothers is a Catholic priest, now retired, so I relied on him as my soul-saving backup plan... just in case.
Biggest disappointment for my Mom, now deceased, was my Lutheran marriage ceremony. She continued to suggest for several years after that a Catholic ceremony would be nice.
@PaulBusch Catholics who've drifted away are always welcome back at Mass.
