@crimsonfall @GlitchGhost I feel you. The worst thing isn't the AI slop, but that you now doubt anything is real by virtue of AI just existing.
@peter @crimsonfall damn right. Im mixed on AI, I like when its used for memes or funny things or to make cool little avatars people us but on the other hand, I do get annoyed how anything can be faked now and you need to be paranoid 1000% of the time now not knowing what's real or fake now and how that stuff is clogging up videos sites like YT to where I'm worried human creators might not even try because how do you compete with a machine? Only time will tell how all this plays out
@GlitchGhost @crimsonfall If you're familiar with Dead Intranet Theory you can see it coming true in real time. I'm sure I saw a report the other day saying bots had officially overtaken human traffic now. YouTube does seem to be full of slop now too. AI does have practical research applications but let loose like this is not good imo.
@peter @crimsonfall yeah ive been hearing about all of that as off late since everyone is talking about it now. i have yet to meet someone who has not heard about AI, even grandmas are talking about ai now lol
