@LovesTha @suricrasia I have done it for my kid's iphone. They were happy to do it. I'm not sure what kind of repair shop you went to, but this one did nothing but battery replacement work.
Personally I noped out of the dumb expensive fragile phone racket and have been rocking a Samsung XCase Pro that has a removable battery. You can pop in a freshly charged battery in like 10 hot seconds and buy replacements on amazon. No AI camera insanity or other stupid cruft either. Designed to last.
