My neighbor stole 40 gallons of sap from trees and all they gave me in return was this gallon of brown goo!
@ra6bit Chug it!
@catsalad @ra6bit CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!
@morb @catsalad I'm not diabetic but I think I'd need some insulin on standby for that..
@morb @catsalad FWIW, they were like "Here, use this to marinate reindeer." - I live in a silly place.
@ra6bit @catsalad now I need to try that at least once
@morb @catsalad I hear Moose is an acceptable substitute flavor wise but it's tougher. Pairs well with fiddleheads and cranberries.

@ra6bit I would dispose of the goo properly* if you don't want it.

*on waffles

@ra6bit ooh that's a good nail color
@rho when it's not chipped. It's color shifting! Blue to Purple - ILNP "Bifringence". (I think I see what they did there, but it's one of my favorites)
Birefringence

@null_aleph @rho Their description is pretty accurate regarding people asking about it, however I find the shifting effect is stronger with a black base coat first. A white base coat gives it a pastel kind of vibe. Enjoy. :)
@ra6bit I bet that goo is tasty tho!
@ra6bit *pours that over someone else's body to see what happens* owo
@ra6bit I thought a gallon was +/- 4 liters.
@Vive_Levant 3.78 liters, or 4 quarts. Quarts are roughly a liter in small amounts where the error doesn’t add up to much. This is a four quart mason jar.
@ra6bit must be the focal length, it looks smaller than that. I would have said around 2 quarts. (Or, in my brain, more than a liter and a half, less than two.)
@Vive_Levant I’ll actually double check, because I’m curious now. I was kind of struggling to hold it. Either way I got a few of them, I was just trying to make the 40:1 joke :)
