@aleen @DevilsPanties I’ve been known to hold back silkier things for ‘the right time’ that is never to come… In my case it’s more stuff like stickers and such.

I feel like now I’m making a conscious effort to just enjoy this stuff. Put the sticker a fun vendor got me on my hobby case. Open the packaging on the collectible that’s unlikely to have any enhanced value unless a few million other copies all spontaneously combust. Enjoy it now.

I assume it’s the same-ish with yarn?

I also admit that the hoarding is part of my psyche and don’t want to make any statements about other people’s states of mind.
