@codinghorror I just reported what I thought was an email on Gmail from Temu saying I have a package on the way. Turns out it was an ad, and according to Google's review it's fine. They are overzealous on blocking email and do bugger all about deceptive ads.

@codinghorror oh, it seems like @fastmail could use an extra icon like that hook 🪝, e.g. in their app there phishing is blank, while all other actions have icons!

@imrehg @fastmail well, it's complicated because I'm not sure average users could tell the difference between garden variety spam and real phishing that almost lands
