If you are interested in #solarpunk you should read „The Ministry for the Future“ from Kim Stanley Robinson. I am reading the German translation and what could I say? There are so many great ideas packed into it. Even the half earth concept is mentioned there. The half earth game is another solarpunky game I cannot recommend enough, as it gives a good feeling for the hurdles of transforming humankind into a future proof version: https://play.half.earth/

I think that the Ministry goes in a good direction, but it does so many things wrong it butchers the message ;_;

Especially about the agency of people of the Global South.

Other authors / designers do the same, like the game Daybreak, specifically designed to be unwinnable if you're not US / EU / China :<
