Q4: You are going to be away from your home and creative space for a month, but you can only take five items from your making kit to keep your creative hand in. What would you be taking?

Needle, thread, pins, scissors, big bag of scraps of fabric. I can patchwork then.
@MakersHour A4 I think if just for a month, then it would mostly be reading and non-electronic things I suspect.

A4: Why on earth am I going away for a month?! Am I being kidnapped? Going to prison? It’s hard enough going to work for a day!
(I’m procrastinating and being silly because I couldn’t possibly pick just five!)
A4: Fifth item is a hard one, since there's the two notebooks already and the two pens. That forces me to pick between the lab book (making a third notebook) or my laptop.
Now I can obviously do a lot more work with one of those objects than the other.
But getting bored and filling up that lab book has been where all my best ideas come from. And if I'm going away for a month, I'm probably busy enough not to want to fill the rest of my time with the tinkering I do at home anyway.
So yeah, I guess the three notebooks and the two pens.
@MakersHour Q4 Five items of kit for a week-end? A4. Needle, threader, scissors, floss, felt. Or Needle, threader, floss, hoop, dishcloth.
A4 I'd probably go for my sewing stuff. Needles, snips, thimble, pins. It's all very portable and minimal.
