A2: It's a weirdly expensive bit of kit and I'd be loathe to replace it, but I don't actually need the logic analyzer I've got for any project I'm actively pursuing.

Of course, the moment I gave the tool up I would immediately find a use for it.

That is always the way!

You could long term loan it to someone else on the basis you can have it back when you needed it. But that never works either!
