𝑮7𝑰𝙕𝑼 𝑹𝙍𝑫Space Weather
An M3.5 flare peaked at 18h15 UT 02 April. A minor R1 radio blackout affected the Atlantic and Americas.
A G2 geomagnetic storm is in progress, although auroral activity has now calmed down with a Kp of 1-2 being observed in the last few minutes.
The solar wind speed has nearly doubled in 24 hours and just now peaked briefly to 702km/s. We should now be feeling the effects of the fast solar wind coming from the coronal hole, that passed the meridian a couple of days ago. Bz is still negative.
