Several Afghan sources on social media reported that today, at approximately 7:00 p.m. local time, Taliban forces launched retaliatory attacks against Pakistani troops along the Durand Line in Khost and Kunar provinces, following earlier artillery shelling by Pakistani military forces.
Earlier today, the Taliban’s deputy spokesman stated that, since yesterday, two civilians have been killed and 25 others, including children, injured as a result of Pakistani mortar, missile, and drone strikes in the Kunar, Paktika, and Khost provinces of Afghanistan.
