6:00AM: 28F, clear.

Another sunny day, then rain moves in (yay!!)

I want to take this opportunity for my seasonal grousing about the sun. It's now light enough when I go to bed that a sleep mask is mandatory.

It's also light when I go downstairs in the AM.

May I just opine: Booooooo!

I won't miss the cold and I *certainly* won't miss the #$%@^ snow...

...but I will miss the blessed darkness. Sigh.

@SilverSalmonAK so finally went out and made more sets 11 in total. They still haven’t spawned at Middle Island and I hear there is still couple big balls of Herring outside of Sitka waiting on the weather to change. One of the sets we made it turned out to be a Christmas Tree and that’s when we left a Humpback just entered our area that we just made that set and I experienced its breath for the 1st time. And Yeah it’s true. I feel confident enough to say we are going to do good this year.

@SilverSalmonAK so apparently another local native guy made 60 sets and based off the pictures I’ve seen so far, I’ve had a hard time believing that. And got a txt lastnight about the Northern Lights. I went and looked from the kitchen and saw them but i didn’t go and get ready I was too tired to head out. But I was happy and went back to sleep
