Yesterday's comic was published, but the prank part for 1st April wasn't... (not ready, and too tired to finish it) A bit sad. So, I finished it this morning.

Rubber Ducking Avian Intelligence

A parody experimentation about Rubber Duck Debugging with a classic interface of AI. Talk to the duck. The duck listens. Find your own answers...

@davidrevoy hahahah I love it!
@davidrevoy This is extremely silly, and I approve. 😂
@davidrevoy just what I needed, thank you!
@davidrevoy the best poissons are the ones happening outside april 1st anyway, never let them know your mext move
@davidrevoy la meilleur intelligence aviaire jamais consue ^^
@davidrevoy I love it! It does everything you really need.
@davidrevoy
i see some minor weaknesses in spelling and grammar, but math works fine 🧮 🦆

@Kampfdiestel 🤯 🤯🤯 It's sentient!

Oh no. What I have done!

@davidrevoy Trop mignon <3
@maiwann @davidrevoy trop fort ! Je lui ai demandé ce que je pouvais préparer pour notre dîner de ce soir et il a tout de suite reconnu mes origines périgourdine
@davidrevoy very useful, the duck was there every time I talked to it 👌
@Anna Thank you for the feedback! With the service overload, I was afraid of interruption of service on day 1. 😆
@davidrevoy I did a work presentation during an AI "hackathon" just a few weeks ago, where I presented my (all human) efforts and then explained that my coding companion was a rubber duck. QuackGPT has many benefits - it is environmentally friendly, inexpensive, water-proof, and comes in a variety of colors. I even taped a little paper necktie onto mine mid-presentation to upgrade him to "agent" status.
@greg Yes, the rubber duck is the ultimate Avian Intelligence 💜
@davidrevoy works better than the GPTs!
@davidrevoy Wait, yesterday's strip was an April Fool's joke? I thought it was a perfect continuation of the story with a real solution!
@linuxandyarn @davidrevoy "Yesterday's comic was published, but the prank part for 1st April wasn't." That means the comic is not part of the joke, even though the joke took inspiration in the comic. Additionally, David it covered everything that can be crticized about AI and began to see an arc fatigue, so it's genuine end of the avaian intelligence arc.

@davidrevoy rubber duck as a service 🦆 or RdaaS

Loving it!

@davidrevoy this is amazing

@Stellar Hmmm... Let me check what Sam Altman would say in this type of situation. As a beginner owner of an AI service, I have to take from the best... oh, alright:

"we are not accountable for your usage, AI psychosis, and other brain erosion effects." 😆

@davidrevoy I love it so much.

I have a domain which is very similar to the university I'm a student at. Could I please have your permission to make a copy of that page and host it on the "ai" subdomain of that fake page?

I'd obviously edit the text at the bottom to credit you and link back to the original page.

Also, no worries if you'd rather not! Then I can do a redirect and it'll still be funny

@LilaHexe Sure, consider it CC 0/Public domain: you have FULL PERMISION.

It's only a index.html file, a screenshot.jpg (for the opengraph preview on social media), and the svg of the duck from clipsafari (cc 0 as well). You'll have no problem downloading the files.
Have fun!

@davidrevoy been using it all day... So far, no hallucinated answers!
@davidrevoy that's cool and ducksome 😄 I tried by found no easter eggs?
@louis None, sad, now I realize I could at least have made a cool array of word detected and variations. #missed_opportunity
@gub Oh yes, so many interesting things about rubber duck, and pictures. The one yesterday I liked, a rubber duck raccing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck#/media/File:Entenrennen_auf_der_Dreisam_in_Freiburg,_Plastikenten_an_der_Leo-Wohleb-Br%C3%BCcke.jpg

Rubber Ducks vs. the Pacific: The Accidental Science Experiment That Wouldn’t Die

If you’ve ever seen a photo of a sun-bleached “rubber” duck on a stormy beach and thought cute, here’s the plot twist: those ducks helped oceanographers map the highways of the sea—and changed how …

@gunchleoc @gub Amazing article! Thank you GunChleoc for sharing!
@elzen  cute!
@davidrevoy …which also makes me wonder: does one of your witches weigh the same as a duck? Not that I'd like to burn them, but I have to know.

(Plus, could they turn me into a newt? 🤔)
@davidrevoy
OBTW, I suggest linking from the form to the AI comic strip
@zvinj Thank you and good point, I added the link in the footer!
@davidrevoy
We still love you 🫶🏼 would have been a great P&C April 1st joke! Still funny 😉
@davidrevoy Hah! StackOverflow once did this for april fools… good times…
@samerion Oh yes, I saw it this week, from the Wikipedia page of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck_debugging , chapter "pop culture". I wish I was around to see it live that day!

@davidrevoy They should have replaced their AI chatbot with one yesterday! Preferably permanently

@davidrevoy Had a very thought provoking conversation, here's a snippet

Edit: I just noticed someone else beat me to it!

@ahimsa_pdx The beauty of a deep conversation about adulthood and the young generation. Such a beautiful ending where each participants stay on their positions, respectfully. 😆
@davidrevoy it's even multilingual, I can ask it what a rubber duck looks like in any language and it understands!
