COFFEE SHOP DAY!

And to celebrate, I'm giving away a free ebook when you sign up for my newsletter!
#WordWeavers Apr. 23: What would your MC be willing to die for?
Thomas Flarety: The people he loves
Abyowith: The people she loves
Nameless: Freedom
"Abyowith thought everything was going well until the barman tried to eat her face."

#WritersCoffeeClub What's a writing skill you wish you were better at?
Typing.
Seriously, if I could do 50 wpm instead of 30, I would be a happy bunny
I have no idea why this is stuck in my head, but if I have to have it, so do all of you.

Tuesday! The day where we we say . . . I feel ugh. Stupid spring cold.
Also, has anyone else noticed that PeePee is raising the level of rhetoric against PM Carney now that there is no danger of an election? Loser.
Tell us about your WIP. What is the genre or genres?
I have 4 in progress right now, all fantasy:
Untitled 1: A grieving man discovers the horrible truth about who he used to be.
The Cursed Factory: Abyowith and the Stalkers hunt a murdering magician
Blood Rot Saga 1 -Hunted: a young Mercenary battles against an enemy far more terrible than anyone suspects
Untitled 2: an orphaned teenager to live with her uncle and discovers he has his own, terrible secrets.
#ScribesAndMakers April 17: What's something you've learned in recent research?
That a cloth factory in a fantasy world teetering toward industrial revolution needs to have water-powered, mechanized carding, spinning, and weaving under one roof, which means the damage caused when a loom come alive and starts destroying the place would be huge.
(Also, there's a murder)
You know, if you subscribe to my newsletter, you can read this one when it comes out.
COFFEE SHOP DAY! And this week I realized I need to rewrite the first 10,000 words of the new Abyowith book to make it work.
Dammit.
Oh well. To the word mines!
Today's post is brought to you by the letters M and I and also by the food group, GRAINS.
I'll be sitting in the dark if anyone wants me.
