@tabcreations.com I honestly feel like when that happens the DM should shift course and not have that NPC do the betraying. It's such an overused trope. Have someone else do it. Maybe even go as far as having the NPC admit that they were going to do it, and changed their mind. Now that would be an actual memorable moment.
