@NicelyManifest What fascinates me is that this is seen as some sort of breakthrough. One of the first things I noticed about Alexa is what a kiss-ass it is. The bubble created by actual sycophants is a feature of human ego in society forever and the obnoxiousness has myriad names and nicknames. 'He drinks his own bathwater' is one of my favorites.

@kristen_d So very very often what is contrived to control the masses - such as making going to work a necessarily good thing - is couched in ways that hide the true intent.
