@apc I'm going to make it easy on myself and repeat the Max Jelenius & Milia combo from Macross! They met on the battlefield, both the ace of their respective flights, but not good enough to down the other... A heated rivalry was the result, with Milia undergoing micronization in order to sneak aboard the Macross to kill Max outside of the cockpit!

@cthellis @apc What I love about these scenes is that yes, it's a cool fight with mecha and all, but the focus is on the characters -- they really put each other in a tight spot, but they're both too good to be caught.
