@jkntech I fail to see what this has to do with governments. "Euro-Office" is an initiative/partnership by Nextcloud and IONIS, both private companies. #OpenDesk from @zendis (a government product) currently uses @CollaboraOffice (based on @libreoffice).

@markusr Like EU-Linux, Euro-Office is created and marketed directly for government programs.

Companies wouldn't be making them, and media wouldn't be talking about them, if there was no demand for it. The whole concept is obviously driven by govt purchasing culture, rather than an understanding of the open-source landscape.
