MS Word informs me I don’t have auto-save turned on. Something that used to just be a background feature in all the versions of Office I’ve used over the years. So I find the option and select it. “You need an Office365 cloud subscription to use that feature.”
So no, my files are not going to be auto-saved.

@drfootleg "everything" requires 365 now.

Local is not even a second choice anymore.

@_thegeoff @Extelec @drfootleg sorry, I just don’t have the headspace for yet another bit of software. In fact, that stops me from a lot of things. I haven’t done any CAD or 3d printing in years. I’ve been trying to set up HA for 18 months now. Just too much new software to deal with. 🙄
@theolodian @Extelec @drfootleg Fair enough, I get that, spent a chunk of today installing a very specific linux distro for very specific hardware to do one very specific job, it can get boring.
