I did feature film visual effects on this G3 tower in my LA apartment back in 1999. My first real work-from-home experience (it only lasted a few months).
Franklin Delano Stallone@tvaziri I did not have one but a friend / co-worker did. It was amazing especially considering what most PCs looked like.
I did my one and only ‘real’ video editing on it. We filmed English language teaching classes for a company to make training videos. It probably helped to rent proper lighting but I’m still surprised we didn’t screw up the lighting or audio given the absolute lack of experience.

Back then, I only had experience with SD resolution. I imagine 2k film res would have been painfully slow.
