I have an informal Bacon number of 3 (me (uncredited in Bonekickers) - Hugh Bonneville - David Hayman - Kevin Bacon).

I have an informal Armada number of 5 (me (in friendly match) - Wulf - Saftblandarn - Pipsqueak - Hungrybox - Armada).

I know my stories have been quoted in academic papers, which I think should count for an informal Erdős number, but I don't know if they've been used by an author with an Erdős number.

Are there any other numbers I could lay claim to?

@cunobaros Sabbath Number as in in if you have sung with anyone who has sung with Black Sabbath etc & I think there is an Asimov number if you have had any writings in short story book that has a relevant chain of Authors. In aside #GNUTerryPratchett was one of the super-connected by having an EBS number combined Erdos Bacon Sabbath he probably had an Asimov number as well it was shown on a website once but i think it disappeared by bitrot & i don't if it was backed up on Archive.org Wayback machine as I can't recall the address.

I think I should have an EBS number but never managed to work it out as have problem working out my Erdos number which i think i should get for being quoted on a paper about the 1st solar garage connected to the UK grid but we might both also get one from our #DiscWorld fandom associations as there was someone who IIRC was doing a PHD on modern folklore sources & used #Discworld fans as sources he came to at least one of the @dwcon events & I think some other Discworld events.

@SANEAlex @cunobaros @dwcon I found this page https://supersonicman.wordpress.com/2016/07/06/erdos-bacon-number/ but unfortunately it doesn’t give enough detail to verify #gnuterrypratchett EBS-number of 9.

@patrick @cunobaros @dwcon From memory*1 #GNUTerryPratchett got his Erdos number via Ian Stewart 4 the Bacon Number was 2 like mine as we were both credited in "The Colour of Magic" Via both Sean Astin & David Jason. For the Sabbath number it was via Steeleye Span 3

*1 I remembered the initial connection but had to use an AI to find the full path and number as it has access to the archives i could not remember full quote below

Discovery credit in the database goes to Daibhid C, with improvements by Phil Ashby.These paths are the canonical ones used by the EBS project (now archived but still the definitive public reference). No shorter verified paths exist in the database.GNU Terry Pratchett — his name still travels the Clacks, and his EBS number of 9 is a lovely little piece of multi-disciplinary nerd immortality. If you want paths for anyone else (or the full methodology behind EBS scoring), just say the word!"
