Thomas ReedI’ve never understood the need some people have to get a new phone every year. I’ve got a 5-year-old phone with a battery that still gets through my whole day without going into low power mode. I’m in no hurry to buy a new one.
Schamschula@thomasareed I'm on a three year cycle. However, my old phone is passed on as it still has useful life ahead of it.

William Smith@thomasareed Going on four years in September. I used to upgrade every other year. Then the features were no longer new or novel. New phones just got better cameras or faster processors, which aren't compelling enough for me.
Now... When Apple releases a new model that displays a 3D spinning mini Death Star above the screen? I'm there for that.
