Gotta thank @shotgunseamstress for turning me on to the amazing Charles Bradley, who I was not aware of before this year (RIP, he passed in 2017). RIDICULOUS voice and arrangements. Strong Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Al Green, Percy Sledge vibes, for sure, and his first record is incredibly good- as well as his others, which I've been going through all last month.

@nic @jake4480 lol! That must’ve been the “Victim of Love” tour. He really played up this sexy grandpa persona during that time. The tour after the first album, he played it pretty straight. Just full-on classic soul.
