Jake in the desertGotta thank @shotgunseamstress for turning me on to the amazing Charles Bradley, who I was not aware of before this year (RIP, he passed in 2017). RIDICULOUS voice and arrangements. Strong Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Al Green, Percy Sledge vibes, for sure, and his first record is incredibly good- as well as his others, which I've been going through all last month.
