Spotted a baby bunny in my yard. It looks terrified and won’t move. Probably somewhat safe with my Corgi as he’s pretty oblivious to other small animals and he’s not much of a killer. My wife said she caught him chasing really young bunnies in the yard a few years ago and caught one. He didn’t bite down hard and let go on command. The bunny ran off seemingly unharmed.

My previous Shiba Inu would have spotted it instantly and ate it. She was a killer. 😳

I found where the baby bunnies are hiding! They are behind some bins and containers against the wall on my patio. I let them stay for now because they are adorable. 😅 Just hope they don’t attract any snakes into my yard.
@mark I’ve had these two beasts for about 7 months now and they ate all the snakes 😅 #bunniesofmastodon
@mark We’re entering into bunny season here, too, and it’s only a matter of time before this three-legged killer catches one. I think he ended up with three rabbits, two birds, and a mole or two to his name last year.
@mark our Corgi is also gentle with baby bunnies. Sometimes he moves them around and I have to go put them back in the nest. The always grow up just fine though ... unless they try and get into the neighbors yard which often contains a Shiba Inu.
