Had my diagnostic mammogram this morning. I have had to have these special mammograms every 6 months for the past 2 years because there were some questionable calcification in my right breast. Since there's been no change in the 2 years, I'm back to regular mammograms next year.

This is your reminder to get your boobies checked. Early detection saves lives.

@somcak
very glad you're ok!
@somcak Did they take a biopsy at any point after finding those?
@rozeboosje No biopsy. They were tiny and haven't grown. I have a family history of calcifications so they are confident they are benign.
@somcak I had to have a diagnostic for calcifications one year. No fun! More pictures, more angles, tighter squishing. And more money! (Since then they started covering diagnostics better under my plan.) Now they just do the regular one and make sure nothing has changed. Phew. (Just got my results today in fact, okay for another year.)

@LisaMaesie Yeah, I'm glad I'm back to the regular ones. The diagnostic ones cost me $450 twice a year with my crappy insurance.

Yay on being okay for another year!
