Can we all agree that April Fool's day is cancelled for the foreseeable future? We already can't trust our eyes and ears.
@north Honestly, most days have seen like April Fool’s Day since that escalator event.
@north There is a herd of April fools already in place. We all know who they are.
@north Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll block anyone who try to propagate a joke tomorrow. I get enough by everday staring at the news and in a agitated voice yell "this has to be a joke".

@north

April's fool concept: post real picture and pretend it's AI

@north april fools day erry'day
@north I fucking hate April Fool’s in the best of times.

@north What do you mean? It's the perfect time for it. Everyone is a total sucker because nothing is real so you can get anyone to believe anything at all.

Why you think they done this?

Just don't try anything with anything resembling, "You hear what the President said?"

1 - won't get many laughs if you get someone to believe it.

2 - someone could demonstrate that you are correct.

@north I propose that April Fools is repurposed, and instead of trying to fool each other, we collectively have a carte blanche to beat up the people deemed the most destructive compulsive liars in the past year

@north
Sudden temptation to make a protest sign and stand on the street corner tomorrow,

"Today is Tell The Truth day"

@north

Right now - Every day’s April Fool’s Day

@north

I thought it was now a holiday for the floating of potential product ideas.

@north I can't even remember the last time I was amused by online April Fools shenanigans. Pretty sure Think Geek was still a thing.
@north Well, y'all can cancel it...but I'm keeping the tradition with pranking my family in non-traumatic ways

@north Am I the only one who badly needs a good laugh more than ever? Tyrants already deprieve us from many things, I won't let them deprieve us from the joy of April Fool, too.

So I'll tell jokes tomorrow, I enjoy doing so, and I will try to make really good, fun, not-toxic ones. That will be a perfect training to free us from the Twitter-like or dictator-like toxic laughs we get much too often the rest of the year. I won't pretend it's easy to device a good April Fool joke, but I do want to try!

Special days, parties and traditions like April Fool must live on, just as we need to. Just as truth, mutual trust, and mutual trust deep and solid enough to allow others to create jokes, needs to live on too. The concept of truth and mutual trust and popular opportunities to have a good laugh are all things dictators hate.

@north
Exactly the same reason I can no longer read The Onion.
@cynblogger I want to laugh at it. I really do.
@north
Actually, I think we need some harmless fun. At the moment there is not much else to laugh about.

@north

Every day is April Fools Day.

@north , also - the 2nd , 3rd and 4th of April is so called “The revenge of the Fools!” 😀😀 which could be even more severe…. 😀
