Me (just now to the front desk staffer at my doctor’s office as I hand back the clipboard full of forms): It’s too bad there isn’t some kind of computer you can store all of this information in for our next visit.
@maxleibman My doctors have an electronic version, but I still somehow need to fill the electronic form out from scratch every time. Which makes it actually worse.
@brentthomas @maxleibman mentioned yesterday on another post but - same, dentist. Every fucking time. Whyeeeee
@noodlemaz @brentthomas @maxleibman In the country where I live we have a card that identifies us in the national medical coverage database, and an app that I can use to make appointments with medical professionals, send them documents, and receive prescriptions, which I can electronically transfer to a pharmacist. Everything is tied into both the public and private medical insurance payment systems so reimbursement is automatic. The US could have the same, if it tried.
@rpluim @brentthomas @maxleibman possibly, I'm not in the US though.
Our NHS is being privatised bit by bit and this is the kind of crap that happens
