I'm going to start using this scale in daily conversation. Brilliant!

We fought a war 250 years ago to get a King’s name off our laws.

Now, we have a President forcing his face onto our money just to brand the government like a hotel chain.

We didn’t trade a crown for a gold-plated ego. This is a Republic. Not a franchise.

At first, I thought the Trump deal to avoid IRS audits was bad because he, his family, and his companies are allowed to just lie to avoid paying any taxes.

But it's worse: They can just lie, not just to pay no taxes, but to actually receive huge refunds. Or at least show huge fake losses now they can leverage in the future.

When the law could not find crimes to convict mobsters in the 40s, they went to the taxes. Now that is off the table for Trump.

It's Limerick Day!

Limerick Day celebrates both the limerick poem and the birth of Edward Lear, who popularized the poems and was born on this date in 1812. It has been celebrated since at least 1987 and is marked by the reading and writing of limericks. Limericks are short, often humorous or ribald poems. They consi…

What do you want to bet some members of Dear Leaders regime invested heavily in Spirit Airlines before the bailout announcement?

It’s frustrating see a survey ask carefully designed questions that guide you to answer that the system is doing what it’s incentivised to do (vs what you think it should)

I’d love to see more “Is this survey useful?”, “how effective are these measures”, and “are we asking the right questions?”

I figured out why Dear Leader's policy for the Strait of Hormuz seems familiar.

Judge people on their own merits.

Don't confuse the two.
