@ruckerworks I wouldn't change a thing. I learned it with my cousin, who got the books for Christmas. We did it wrong, learned, got better, and had an absolute blast the entire time. AD&D 1st edition was our first exposure, but B/X is what we truly learned how to play on. We still play. I actually just polymorphed his thief into a medusa, who ended up turning a party member to stone and then was slain by the remaining party members on Sunday night. He'll get me back with his next character. 🤣
