Sophie 🏳️⚧️ 🌜I've always had mixed feelings about Trans Day of Visibility. People are more aware of trans people than ever and that's why we have such a target on our backs right now. There's a big part of me that wishes we where less visible.
At the same time though, increased visibility and awareness of trans people is what prompted me to confront my own relationship with my gender back around this time in 2016.
We're in a tumultuous state for trans acceptance right now, I just hope some day in the not too distant future we come out the other side and are in a world where it's easier to be trans.
