@mojo @blueluma You can install it without an account. That's what I did. I used Aurora Store for that. But your point still stands. There should be an official option to install Wero without the Play Store.

@flamecat @blueluma Some say you need the official Play Store to install Wero. You don’t — you can sideload it or use Aurora Store without a Google account. Still, for a project about EU payment sovereignty, there should be an official APK/F‑Droid option so no one is forced onto US app stores.

@mojo @flamecat well technically Aurora Store uses Google account under the hood (and still connects to google servers) 🤓

Also, Wero works even without google services, which is the bare minimum (even if it still has some bugs and requires permissions that shouldn't)
