Serious question, if a little philosophical.

If you look back at big personal decisions you've made in your life that turned out right in retrospect, what's an accurate way to describe most of them?

A — I made them quickly.
B — I mulled over them for some time, and modified my thoughts, so what I eventually decided was better than my initial hunch.
C — I spent a long time thinking about them, but in the end I went with something that largely matched my initial hunch.

Boosts appreciated!

@xahteiwi I don't think the amount of thinking has been a significant factor in what has turned out good and what hasn't.

Most of the best things in my life has started by some sort of happenstance so it's been less about my active decision making and more about luck.
