I didn't remember how long ago the screed was, but I'm still constantly disappointed to see it carried at Costco (as well as Goya, who went full MAGA during Trump's first campaign).
@linuxandyarn It looks like the company took a completely different tack from its CEO and invested in pro-LGBTQIA+ initiatives (per Wikipedia)).

On the other hand, the same Wikipedia article says Barilla is still operating in Russia and has increased their profits there since Russia invaded Ukraine.
So I don't need to rush back from Ronzoninand supermarket brands (especially since my wife has gone gluten-free).

i.e. the brand Barilla didn't like that talk either and has done better.
(if that's not true, I'm going to have to start shopping for different pasta again.)

They have made a nearly complete turnaround following the CEOs remarks. They are now considered very inclusive and supportive of LGBTQ+ rights and organizations!
I know of all the PR efforts to save the brand by keeping their CEO quiet and showing a different face. I still will not buy it.
