Which website has uBlock going like this?
@protonprivacy I'm going for Facebook
@protonprivacy
My guess is a affiliate marketing / product price comparison website.
notion for some reason...

@protonprivacy Any page with a high number of ublock hits is bad, but it's particularly bad when sites completely break when you block the ads.

It's especially bad when you have to visit those sites to pay bills. Or to see a package delivery update. Or to see medical lab results. Soon, the ads will be everywhere and will be completely unavoidable.

You know there was a time when the internet didn't have ANY ads?

Thank goodness for Mastodon, because it's even starting at Bluesky now:

@protonprivacy doesnt that depend how you configure ublock
@protonprivacy teams, youtube, fb for sure, not tested others

@protonprivacy every website that sends out periodic (like every 5 seconds) of "telemetry".

Looking at you sharepoint, teams, ...

@protonprivacy spannt uf d'Antwort
@protonprivacy all those services running on EEUU datacenter
@protonprivacy YouTube and Google Maps
@protonprivacy Google Meet, and other Google websites…
@protonprivacy Youtube and then Twitch for me.
@protonprivacy Probably chatgpt when I used it
@protonprivacy
Its not Google or Facebook. At least with how locked down I have them within themselves. Dozens to hundreds, (ie awful,) but not thousands.
@protonprivacy Spotify ;)
@RavenPunk I wouldn't know about that.
