Sad caroussel sock news, I’m afraid. It’s very tight over the instep and too wide in both the foot and the ankle. It seems my feet are not caroussel worthy. I’m not really feeling like trying to tweak the pattern to make it better, so these will be frogged and that’s the end of the cal for me. I did like exploring the unique construction and it reminded me that I do need a sock on the needles at all times! #knitting #hksockkal
A measure of how much too large the carousel socks were for my feet: I’m knitting a regular toe-up sock with the frogged yarn, and just the heel hexagon takes me almost to the cuff!
My mum has mentioned how much she likes the yarn three times now so these will be for her.
