Dear #lazyweb, what's a good iPad (or if I must, macOS/Windows/web) app for mapping out unknown territory? Grid, icons/labels, ability to gauge distance, that sort of thing. Needs to NOT be real-world map based.

Diagram tools like Vizio/OmniGraffle are like 80% there but lack the distance gauging thing.

(Yes this is about #Subnautica, lmao. No I do not want to just use other peoples' maps!)

@offby1 yeaaaaa I’m trying to tackle one feature at a time, lmao. So far there hasn’t been an undue amount of actual layering, just “this zone is over here and has this much water on top of it”…

@bitprophet It’s been a few years, so I’ll bet I’d be lost again, but after a while I basically knew my way around the whole area.

(I played without the food/water mechanic because that part was zero fun for me, but the rest of it was amazing)
