"Nexgrill is voluntarily recalling over 10.2 million metal wire bristle grill brushes sold at The Home Depot stores and online between 2015 and 2026. Small metal wire bristles can detach from the brushes, stick to the grill or food, posing an ingestion hazard and risk of serious internal injuries that could require surgery. You should immediately stop using the recalled brush.

Nexgrill is offering a full refund in the form of a gift card ($5–$15 depending on model) after a successful claim."

@ai6yr I once got dinner free at a restaurant b/c a piece of wok brush got in my food. (I thought it was a hard piece of broccoli and to be honest if I weren't in chorus, I'd have been in a "hope somebody knows Heimlich" situation.

@ai6yr ( I managed to orchestrate my tonsils to find the thing and cough it out. HEads were turned, tho' I tried to make every breath I took "yes I just inhaled!!" but I seriously would have been happier if oh, somebody would have stood up and been at the ready. I wasn't going to look at it - gross! - but LOL gross? LOOK AT IT and OH!! WHat the F***?"
I had to pay for my beer and they didn't bring me change for that.
Dudes, no tip, and no return. It's been 3 different restaurants since then...)
